Uudenmaan Pikakuljetus Oy UPK was founded in 1992. The company’s turnover in 2009 was approximately 18 million euro generated by about 80 employees. UPK has a fleet of 60 vehicles. UPK is operating with 11 regional traffic contractors thus covering the whole country and delivering about 5500 shipments daily.
Terminals UPK is owned by DSV Road Oy which is a part of a Danish DSV Group of Companies. DSV A/S is listed in Copenhagen Exchange. The annual turnover of the DSV Group is about 4.8 billion euro and it employs globally approx. 21,000 logistics professionals, out of which about 450 in Finland. DSV has its own companies in over 60 countries. Together with its partners it offers logistics services in over 110 countries.
